Let's Move is a fundraising campaign run by Mamre Oaks to raise funds for our social mission to care for adults aged 16 and above with intellectual and developmental disabilities who require a higher level of support.

Let's M.O.V.E is our 3rd fund raising campaign in our 6 years of operations. This year, we are organising our very first virtual movement with our fund raising. We hope through this campaign, we can all come together to MOVE BARRIERS, MOVE LIVES & MOVE BEYOND STIGMA.

Why Let's M.o.v.e?

The idea behind the name Let's M.O.V.E is to encourage the public to join us in the movement of moving with our members and many others alike. Also, most importantly, we want to take this opportunity to encourage and support caregivers living with adults with intellectual disabilities to move along too!

This year, we have set a target of $150K from our Let's Move campaign which we will be running from July to December period. All funds received will be directed to support the operations of Mamre Oaks to care for adults with intellectual disabilities.

About the Charity

Mamre Oaks Ltd is a non-profit organization and a member organisation of Caritas Singapore. Founded by a group of friends who believe that persons with intellectual disabilities, the weakest in society, are gifts from God with their rights to a fulfilling life like anyone else.

Mamre Oaks aims to empower the persons with intellectual disabilities to lead lives of meaning, dignity and fulfillment, to provide and create an environment where the persons with intellectual disabilities are welcomed, respected and valued regardless of their difference abilities.

Being an integral part of the Catholic Church, Mamre Oaks will carry out its businesses according to the Church's Catholic Social Teachings. We are founded on Catholic soil and we warmly welcome all regardless of their race and religion.
