"Mdm Tan, 56 and Mr Mohd Zain, 90, have been good friends for over 20 years. Every morning, Mr Zain will fetch Mdm Tan from her home to head to the nearby market. In return, Mdm Tan who is stricken with stroke helps Mr Zain with the house chores. Their respective challenges in life do not hinder them from extending help to one another. An unlikely friendship that transcend age and ethnicity becomes a beacon of hope during these difficult times, serving as a reminder that kindness has no boundaries".

We Care We Share is a fund-raising initiative put together by the Malay Youth Literary Association (4PM).

We have been experiencing unusual and difficult times during the COVID-19 pandemic which has hit globally and has changed our lives in many different ways. 4PM rely largely on corporate and public donations through our fundraising drives to raise much needed funds. Our donations have plunged as fundraising events have had to be cancelled due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite these challenges, 4PM continues to remain focused in serving the community and preparing them for a more challenging and uncertain future. We Care We Share aims to garner support from the community to help those in need.

We humbly appeal to you to make a donation to support our causes. We would be most grateful for this kind gesture, irrespective of the amount.

All donations will go towards sustaining our programmes and services to the community and society.

About the Charity

In 1948, the Persatuan Persuratan Pemuda Pemudi Melayu (abbreviated as 4PM) or Malay Youth Literary Association was established with a core mission to maximise youth potential for the benefit of the community.

From its humble beginnings as a small group of passionate individuals providing educational support by offering tuitions to children and cultural activities for youths in kampungs, 4PM has transformed into an organisation that focuses on uplifting the educational status of the community and investing in the young- moulding and shaping the lives of youth as well as supporting the community's social and welfare needs.

Since its inception, 4PM stays true to its mission, "Unite & Serve", rallying individuals in a spirit of cooperation, united with a common purpose for the betterment of the community.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
