Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital - 'Light a Lantern, Warm a Heart' Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration
About Campaignends 30 Sep 2016, 12 AM
Traditionally an occasion for reunion with loved ones, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a significant occasion where we exemplify the love and care for our residents.
During the festival, the hospital transforms into a lantern wonderland, set aglow with a kaleidoscope of light and colours. The residents, accompanied by their loved ones and volunteers, get to enjoy an array of performances and activities under the moonlit sky; a truly heartwarming experience deeply cherished by all.
Help us create more of these memorable experiences by donating generously!
Your contribution will bring a SMILE to the face of each resident.
Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (KWSH), a 106 year-old charitable healthcare organisation and Institution of Public Character, is committed to looking after the sick and needy. In the last century, it has continued the strong tradition of community service, having cared for many generations of Singaporeans. It is now one of the most established providers in the intermediate and long-term care (ILTC) sector. To cope with the rapidly ageing population, KWSH is currently undergoing redevelopment to be transformed into an integrated community hub, providing healthcare services to its inpatients and the community. In 2017, it will have the largest single-site nursing home with over 600 beds; and expansion in its other services such as rehabilitation, TCM and home care.
