About Campaign

Symbolising a time of togetherness and rejuvenation, the Mid-Autumn Festival represents an important date on the Chinese calendar for loved ones to gather and spend quality time with one another. It is an annual tradition of Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (KWSH) to celebrate the jovial occasion with the residents, when they can look forward to dazzling lantern displays and also soak in the festive mood on our premises.

The occasion will see the compound illuminated and adorned with a myriad of lanterns handmade by our passionate volunteers and sponsored by generous donors.

Thank you for your valuable support in our mission of caring for the needy elderly and we wish you a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival in advance.

About the Charity

Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (KWSH), a century-old charitable healthcare organisation and Institution of Public Character, is committed to looking after the sick and needy. In the last century, it has continued the strong tradition of community service, having cared for many generations of Singaporeans. It is now one of the most established providers in the intermediate and long-term care (ILTC) sector.

To cope with the rapidly ageing population, KWSH's redevelopment will transform it into an integrated nursing home and community hub, with its healthcare services reaching out to both inpatients and the community.

On September 2017, we moved into a new 12-storey nursing home building with in-patient capacity of over 600 beds. Beyond inpatient care, KWSH provides a holistic range of healthcare services, a Senior Care Centre, TCM, home care and caregiver training.
