About Campaign

ends 31 Aug 2020, 11:59 PM
The current COVID 19 pandemic has been an adversity for KWSH. With the virus outbreak, we have seen a drastic dip in our donations. Majority of our beneficiaries are from lower-income families and KWSH heavily subsidises our services. The increase in residents and the expansion of our services mean that the hospital has an overall operating cost that would hit an estimated $60 million by 2022. Difficult times bring uncertainties. The vulnerable elderly needs our support more than ever. Your contributions will alleviate our financial burden and go a long way to allow us to continue serving the needy elderly. We appeal for your kind generosity!
Alternative modes of donation are also accepted - Cash, cheque, PayNow and AXS machines transfer.

LEND US A HAND TO HELP OUR NEEDY ELDERLY!

About the Charity

Established in 1910, KWSH is a charitable healthcare organisation and is registered as an Institution of Public Character, committed to looking after the sick and needy. At present, KWSH operates a nursing home, a rehabilitation centre, a traditional Chinese medicine centre, three community care centres and offers home care services. It is now one of the most established providers in the Intermediate and Long-Term Care sector.

This year (Year 2020), our new chronic sick wards co-located within the same building as the upcoming Kallang Polyclinic will furnish an additional 128 beds and boost our total capacity to 750 beds. Our fourth Kwong Wai Shiu Care centre, KWS Care @ MacPherson, will also be ready to serve the community. Moving forward, a second nursing home located at Potong Pasir is set to be ready in 2021. The Hospital will eventually operate close to 1,200 nursing home beds in total, making us one of the largest nursing home operators in Singapore.
