About Campaign

Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital reaches out to the community at large via community programmes such as the Community Care Day on 24th March 2018, 8.30am to 12.30pm. It is a meaningful occasion where needy elderly residing in the nearby precinct are invited to free health screenings in collaborations with various healthcare institutions, such as ear check and eye care sessions. There will also be consultations by our very own TCM physicians. Other highlights of the event include free food and games at the carnival.

All these will not be possible without your generous support. Please support us as we continue to provide quality care services to the community elderly!

About the Charity

Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (KWSH), a century-old charitable healthcare organisation and Institution of Public Character, is committed to looking after the sick and needy. In the last century, it has continued the strong tradition of community service, having cared for many generations of Singaporeans. It is now one of the most established providers in the intermediate and long-term care (ILTC) sector. To cope with the rapidly ageing population, KWSH's redevelopment will transform it into an integrated nursing home and community hub, with its healthcare services reaching out to both inpatients and the community. On September 2017, we moved into a new 12-storey nursing home building with in-patient capacity of over 600 beds. Beyond inpatient care, KWSH provides a holistic range of healthcare services, a Senior Care Centre, TCM, home care and caregiver training. For more information, please visit http://www.kwsh.org.sg.
