About Campaign

Children diagnosed with cancer and their families face many challenges related to the impact of treatment and adjustments required to manage a severe illness. Treatment can last from months to years; resulting in time away from home and school. Side-effects from the cancer and its treatment may also cause these children to be unwell and inactive. Diet is another essential element to consider during treatment as different nutritional plans are necessary to maintain a healthy weight.

All of these factors can affect a child's development, social, and emotional well-being, with the severity varying from child to child. As such, holistic support is required to help patients and their families best cope with these evolving adjustments.

To meet these needs, the SingHealth Duke-NUS CCF Psychosocial and Supportive Care Programme for Paediatric Oncology (CCF PSCP) was officially established to enhance cognitive, emotional, and physical treatment outcomes for these patients. This holistic programme, led by KK Women's and Children's Hospital, involves a multi-disciplinary team to provide patients with tailored interventions according to their individual needs.

In support of this programme, Learners' Connection will be donating a portion of the proceeds from their Annual Mathlympics. Partner us in this battle against cancer by making your life-changing tax-deductible donation to the CCF PSCP today!

About the Charity

Because every woman and child deserves good health...

"Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance." (United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights)

Here at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, we believe that every woman and child deserves good health. The KKH Health Fund (KKHHF) raises funds to help needy patients, who very often have exhausted all options and are in need of financial assistance, for their medical expenses. The fund also supports education, research and disease prevention programmes targeted at improving women's and children's health.

As KKHHF is totally dependent on donations, on behalf of the patients, we thank the generous donors who have literally saved lives by enabling the fund to continue with its work of giving financial support to needy patients.

You can be a part of this life-saving cause; we appeal to you for your kind and generous support*.

*All donations received are managed by SingHealth Fund (SHF), an institution of Public Character (UEN 201624016E). Donations must be received by Giving.sg for processing by 31 December 2021 for your 2021 donations to be eligible for a 250% tax deduction of the gift value in YA2021. Donations received after 31 December of the current year will be processed for tax deduction in the following year instead. Thank you for your understanding.
