About Campaign

ends 30 Nov 2018, 11:59 PM
After a successful collaboration with the Singapore Weiqi Association (SWA) back in 2016, Kidney Dialysis Foundation and SWA will be co-organising our second KDF Charity Weiqi Competition this November, to raise funds for our needy dialysis patients.

The competition will held on 17 and 18 of November, at Kreta Ayer Community Club, and is expected to draw participation from over 300 students and adults.

Through the competition, we aim to promote awareness about kidney and kidney-related diseases, and raise $150,000 to defray the treatment costs of low-income patients served by KDF.
Those interested to participate in the games may register directly with SWA (https://weiqi.org.sg/Home/News/1402). Alternatively, you can support the players and our patients by making an online donation today!

About the Charity

The Kidney Dialysis Foundation (KDF) is an independent non-profit organisation which provides subsidised dialysis treatment to needy members of the community. We support those whose income falls into the lowest 15% income bracket in Singapore, ensuring that this vulnerable group of patients will not be deprived of treatment as a result of their financial situation. We currently run three haemodialysis centres at Bishan, Chinatown and Ghim Moh, serving about 340 patients annually. At least $4 million is needed yearly to continue KDF's life-saving mission. All donations to KDF will be eligible for tax deduction as we are a IPC registered charity. *Impact statements listed above are for illustrative purposes only.
