About Campaignends 30 Jun 2019, 11:59 PM
A person whose job or task is to:
1. Seek financial resources from friends, family and good Samaritans to aid needy dialysis patients served by Kidney Dialysis Foundation (KDF) and;
2. Cycle 1000KM over 5 days from Malaysia to Singapore for KDF Millennium Ride 2019, a charity ride held annually to generate financial support for KDF dialysis patients.
On 10th-14th January 2019, our fund-riders embarked on the 6th KDF Millennium Ride, an annual endurance ride of 1000KM from Malaysia to Singapore, in a bid to raise funds for low-income dialysis patients at Kidney Dialysis Foundation.
The cyclists aim to raise $350,000 for our patients, but now we are still short of $100,000. Your donation will reduce a portion of our patients' dialysis and medication fees, which can cost more than $2000 a month. And you will also be providing transport subsidies for patients with mobility issues.
Kindness only begets kindness, so in return, your donation is entitled to 2.5 times tax deduction. That means that for every 1000 you donate, you will receive 2500 in tax rebates.

*Proceeds from this event will help to subsidise dialysis and medication costs for patients served by KDF and also help defray public education, research and the Foundation's operating expenses.
About the Charity
The Kidney Dialysis Foundation (KDF) is an independent non-profit organisation which provides subsidised dialysis treatment to needy members of the community. We support those whose income falls into the lowest 15% income bracket in Singapore, ensuring that this vulnerable group of patients will not be deprived of treatment as a result of their financial situation. We currently run three haemodialysis centres at Bishan, Chinatown and Ghim Moh, serving about 340 patients annually. At least $4 million is needed yearly to continue KDF's life-saving mission. All donations to KDF will be eligible for tax deduction as we are a IPC registered charity. *Impact statements listed above are for illustrative purposes only. All donations received through this page will be channelled into the KDF general fund, which covers patients' dialysis treatment, public education, research and other operating expenses.
