About Campaign
ends 30 Jun 2020, 11:59 PMFor Madam Salimah (not her real name), things are going incredibly tough. The mother of three who used to work as a part-time kitchen assistant, has had no work scheduled since March 2020. Her husband, an ex-offender currently staying at a halfway house, also lost his job as a mover during this period. Staying in a 2-room rental flat with her children, she worries everyday about getting groceries during the fasting month, and milk and diapers for her young ones. One of her children was also recently discharged from hospital in end March due to adenovirus and UTI infection. It is a very challenging time for the entire family.
To support families like Madam Salimah's, we have initiated this campaign to help them tide over this difficult period. Under this campaign, we will provide essentials items such as masks, disinfectant sprays and other necessities and financial assistance to keep them going.
We want to do more, but our resources are limited. We need your help to continue to keep these going! Please consider using your $600 Solidarity Payment to extend a helping hand.
Thank you for supporting the vulnerable groups during this difficult period. Together we will get through this!
