Hope Initiative Alliance is an inter-racial and -religious alliance of social service organisations, civil groups and corporations that seek to provide holistic care for the vulnerable and marginalised communities. In partnership with more than 100 organisations including government agencies and various corporations, HIA provides help to the guest workers, homeless, elderly, people with disability needs, the poor and the needy. Various projects were held over the past year. An example is the distribution of care meals between April and June 2020 for the guest workers. More than one million Care Meals and supplies were given to them. Besides that, BSS also catered to their emotional and psychological needs. For example, on 9 September, iFriend was launched, where appreciation and care were shown to the guest workers through interaction.

To extend a helping hand not only vanishes tears from their faces, but it also acts as a cure. Each one of us has a role to play in this world, be it small or big. St. Augustine summarises this perfectly, "What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.". Hence, we would like to invite you to be a part of our cause-changing lives and making a difference in our communities. Thank you in advance.
