About Campaign

Portraits of Love is a project that stemmed from a simple wish to present homebound patients with a photograph of themselves to put on their bare walls, and to take their minds off their illnesses. A sizeable proportion of our beneficiaries live in highly subsidized rental housing, many of them by themselves.

Fronted by HNF volunteers who are professionals in their areas of work, the project will culminate in a public photo exhibition to be held on 22 to 24 April 2016 at Raffles City Shopping Centre Level 3. The aim is to heighten public interest and awareness about home healthcare services in Singapore.

The Portraits of Love exhibition showcases photographs and write-ups of beneficiary profiles who received support through home healthcare services provided by HNF. These profiles have intriguing stories to share and lessons for us to learn. Volunteer photographer Mr Kelvin Lim captured these stories in photographs displayed at the exhibition and featured snippets into a photo book.

We hope that you would donate generously so that we can present a photo book to the participating patients for keepsake and to help subsidize similar HNF patients who require home healthcare services.

About the Charity

Founded in 1976, Home Nursing Foundation is the oldest and most established charity organisation that provides home healthcare in Singapore. We deliver comprehensive care programmes that are dedicated to our patients, regardless of their income level. From nursing to medical care, to looking after patients' social well-being and other practical needs, we bring care and support into the homes of those in need.

We depend on the generosity of the public and organisations to provide funding to enable us to serve our patients. Our patients needs are our primary concern and your donation will go towards supporting the most needy of them. All donations to HNF qualify for 250% tax deduction. All tax exemption receipts will be emailed, and hard copies are upon request only. For more information, please visit our website at www.hnf.org.sg
