How Your Donation Makes a Difference

You $200 donation will help an ill migrant worker pay for a single visit to a specialist and the the associated medication costs.

$1,000

You $1,000 donation will help provide one injured worker with medical rehabilitation services.

$6,000

Your $6,000 donation will help pay for consultations with dentists including medication for 50 migrant workers, or for Peer Support Leader (PSL) training for 100 migrant workers.

$10,000

Your $10,000 donation will help provide 10 injured workers with medical rehabilitation services.

Please note that only donations of a minimum of $6,000 are eligible for a golf flight entitlement.

Join us in swinging for a good cause at Sentosa Golf Course!

HealthServe will be holding our annual Charity Golf event on 16th June 2023 (Friday) at the Sentosa Golf Club, Tanjong Course. Flights are priced at S$6,000 & S$10,000 each.

Healthcare is the heartbeat of HealthServe. All proceeds will go towards HealthServe's services for low-wage migrant workers in need, from urgent medical and dental care to mental health programmes and social services as well as operations costs. Each year, thousands of migrant workers walk through our clinic doors.

Your donation will be matched 100% by Tote Board Grant, up to the first $250,000, enabling HealthServe to provide more health and wellness programmes to support the migrant worker community in Singapore.

About the Charity

Founded in 2006, HealthServe, is an IPC registered charity that seeks to bring healing and hope to vulnerable low-wage migrant workers in Singapore.

There are close to one million work permit holders in Singapore. Access to affordable healthcare can be a problem for low wage migrant workers as foreigners in Singapore do not receive subsidies for healthcare at public institutions. By law, workers are supposed to be covered for both inpatient and outpatient treatment by their employers but not all do. In addition, fear of repatriation and cultural and language barriers also contribute to migrant workers not receiving proper treatment.

The more unfortunate amongst these workers get injured at work and may end up losing their jobs and suffering loss of pay for a protracted period. The wait for their work injury compensation application to be processed and resolved can take months or years.

From a single clinic providing GP services in Geylang to meet the needs of the workers, HealthServe has expanded our range of services to the provision of GP and specialist medical services, rehabilitation and dental services, injury and salary-related casework support, social assistance, counselling and mental health programmes.

We are very much a volunteer-run organisation. Our operations are run by a small staff team and hundreds of medical and non-medical volunteers and interns.
