About Campaign

ends 31 Dec 2020, 11:59 PM
As part of the Stronger Together series, this campaign focuses on the emotional and mental support for our vulnerable beneficiaries - single-parent families, ex-offenders, and teenage girls recovering from the trauma of abuse.

Your donation will go towards providing services to support the emotionally and mental well-being of our beneficiaries, which include group and individual support sessions, stress and emotional regulation sessions, and culinary classes for employability that will increase self-confidence and independence.

People who are emotionally and mentally resilient have the tools for coping with difficult situations and maintaining a positive outlook. They remain focused, flexible, and productive, in bad times as well as good. They can keep problems in perspective and bounce back from setbacks. They feel good about themselves and their resilience makes them less afraid of new experiences or an uncertain future.

Thank you for helping the vulnerable at HCSA stay emotionally and mentally strong!

About the Charity

HCSA Community Services, a charitable organisation with the Institution of A Public Character (IPC) status and a member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), started in 1996 as a halfway house for recovering drug addicts and ex-offenders. Today, our work has expanded to include teenage girls who have experienced the complex trauma of abuse and single parents with limited support.

As a family of dedicated staff, volunteer teams and corporate and community partners, we continue to serve some of the most vulnerable in society to give them a future and a hope.

Our mission to empower these vulnerable populations is achieved through our signature programmes:

HCSA Highpoint - Helping Ex-Offenders Rebuild Lives;
HCSA Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre - Giving Hope to Abused Teenage Girls;
HCSA Dayspring SPIN (Single Parents INformed, INvolved, INcluded) - Empowering Single Parents Facing Limited Support;
HCSA Academy - Preparing Workplace Ready Professionals

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
