About Campaign
ends 31 May 2017, 11:59 PMThis Mothers' Day lunch designed to be a special intimate moment between our beneficiaries and their mothers. It is a step towards strengthening bonds, helping them make peace with their past and rekindling love for one another.
It also provides an opportunity for members of the public to bring their mothers or mothers in their lives to join us to celebrate this day. (https://www.eventbrite.sg/e/mothers-day-lunch-rekindle-love-tickets-33326772273)
This event hopes to raise $50,000 to support family engagement therapies at HCSA Community Services. These therapies form a part of the recovery journey of our beneficiaries to then finding purpose for a more abundant life.
About the Charity
HCSA Community Services, a charitable organisation with the Institution of A Public Character (IPC) status and a member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), started in 1996 as a halfway house for recovering drug addicts and ex-offenders. Today, our work has expanded to include teenage girls who have experienced the complex trauma of abuse and single parents with limited support.
As a family of dedicated staff, volunteer teams and corporate and community partners, we continue to serve some of the most vulnerable in society to give them a future and a hope.
Our mission to empower these vulnerable populations is achieved through our signature programmes:
HCSA Highpoint - Helping Ex-Offenders Rebuild Lives;
HCSA Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre - Giving Hope to Abused Teenage Girls;
HCSA Dayspring SPIN (Single Parents INformed, INvolved, INcluded) - Empowering Single Parents Facing Limited Support;
HCSA Academy - Preparing Workplace Ready Professionals
