Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes and create a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Project HomeWorks (Local Home-cleaning Programme):
Started in 2006, Project HomeWorks is Habitat Singapore's local volunteering initiative where we work with vulnerable persons and families who need help to transform their homes into a safe and sanitary state. Project HomeWorks has transformed over 3,000 homes across Singapore with the help of more than 17,000 volunteers who believe in providing all elderly with the opportunity to age with dignity and grace.
Global Village (Overseas House Building Programme):
Volunteer teams join us for a 3-7 day house-building trip, where they travel to various countries around the Asia-Pacific region to help low-income communities build decent and affordable homes. Volunteers work hand-in-hand with homeowner families, who invest their own labour into building their home and sometimes their neighbours' too. To date, we have built more than 1,200 houses with the help of over 13,000 volunteers. Contact us for more information about Global Village:
