GGS has grown steadily over the years to having more than 9,000 members today, Thousands of girls and women past and present are amongst members of GGS.
2017 promises to be an exciting and eventful year for GGS members, both past and present. Many Centenary events are being planned for our members, amongst which are activities that will involve the wider community and general public across Singapore. The Centenary celebrations will offer many unique opportunities to showcase and celebrate the organisation's long-standing vision, our dynamic programmes that positively impact the community around us, and the continued achievements of GGS members over the last 100 years.
Our GGS Centenary activities include:
o National Leadership Development Programme 2017
o Centenary International Camp for local and overseas Brownies, Guides and Leaders
o International Bazaar at Camp Christine
o And many more
As it looks to the future, GGS will remain focused on delivering on its vision and mission of developing girls and young women to become women of courage, character and confidence.

Girl Guiding in Singapore
An uniformed Youth Organisation and part of a worldwide movement of 10 Million members in 146 countries, with a mission to enable girls and young women to develop their fullest potential as responsible citizen of the world.
Girl Guiding is open to all girls and women without any distinction of race, creed, nationality or any other circumstance. It is a game of adventure, observation, knowledge and ideas.
The aim is to provide girls and young women with the opportunity for self training in the development of character, in the realisation of responsible citizenship and promotion of service to the community
To maintain a high ethical standard based on the aims and principles embodied in the Promise and Law as laid down by the Founder, Lord Baden Powell, and to encourage international goodwill and understanding by establishing friendly relations with girls of other nations.
