About Campaign
ends 31 Mar 2022, 11:59 PMIn line with GGS' 2021 commitment to support SDG 13 "To take urgent action to combat climate change and its impact", our latest initiative "Go Green Project" will drive awareness and participation amongst GGS members and the public via a series of interactive virtual campaigns. These include:
- Planting: Reduce carbon footprint and increase food sustainability, via Community Guiding virtual sessions and GGS camp programmes
- Upcycling: Reduce waste by re-purposing materials into useful objects via Community outreach projects
- Plogathons: Promote healthy living, active lifestyles and cleaner environment through litter pick-up while jogging/ walking
GGS seeks your support to run high-impact programmes, such as our "Go Green Project", which equip girls and women to make a difference and create a better world. Girl Guiding in Singapore
An uniformed Youth Organisation and part of a worldwide movement of 10 Million members in 146 countries, with a mission to enable girls and young women to develop their fullest potential as responsible citizen of the world.
Girl Guiding is open to all girls and women without any distinction of race, creed, nationality or any other circumstance. It is a game of adventure, observation, knowledge and ideas.
The aim is to provide girls and young women with the opportunity for self training in the development of character, in the realisation of responsible citizenship and promotion of service to the community
To maintain a high ethical standard based on the aims and principles embodied in the Promise and Law as laid down by the Founder, Lord Baden Powell, and to encourage international goodwill and understanding by establishing friendly relations with girls of other nations.
