About Campaign

Thank you for supporting the Singapore Botanic Gardens and Trees of the World 2022. All trees for decoration are fully subscribed.

We would like to appeal to you to make a general donation to the Gardens instead, as your generous support made through this project from now till 2 Jan 2023, will be matched by Tote Board.

Your contribution helps the rich heritage of the Singapore Botanic Gardens and our work to connect people with nature. With a history of over 160 years, the Gardens today is a leading centre in tropical botany, research, and conservation. It is only with your support that we can continue with our mission.

Thank you once again for your support and please visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens from 4th December 2022 to 2nd January 2023 to enjoy the festive display made possible by our partners!

If you would like additional information about donating to specific projects at the Gardens, please email [email protected]. Thank you!

All trees "participating" in Trees of the World 2022 are tropical trees. After the event, they will be planted around Singapore in parks, gardens and other green spaces to provide shade, beautify the surroundings and support our local biodiversity.

About the Charity

Established by the National Parks Board (NParks) in 2002, Garden City Fund is managed independently as a charity, where 100% of donations raised go towards projects it supports. The charity hopes to cultivate a love for the environment, promote a sense of ownership, and encourage the community to play a part in preserving Singapore's legacy as a lush and vibrant City in Nature. Through partnerships with organisations and individuals, GCF provides a platform for the community to be involved and contribute towards conservation, research, outreach and education initiatives.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
