About Campaign

ends 15 Dec 2021, 11:59 PM
Due to the restrictions brought about by the pandemic, the social participation and interaction amongst our friends with disabilities has been low and unsatisfactory. We had to cease all social interaction programmes and cancel our 2020 year end dinner. Many of our service users had to stay at home and avoid intermingling as they are either seniors or not able to take the vaccinations due to coexisting illnesses. This year, instead of cancelling our year end dinner and lucky draw event, we would like to bring the dinner and lucky draw to their homes, virtually.

We recognise how COVID-19 has affected the mental wellness of our service users. Our service users, while understanding, were extremely disappointed when we cancelled our yearly dinner and lucky draw event last year. Their morales were low and many complained of boredom and loss of purpose. We want to let our friends with disabilities know that despite these challenging times, we will and can overcome this together.

We need your help to bring joy and purpose to our friends with disabilities. With your generous donation. We will be able to bring our 2021 Virtual Year End Dinner & Lucky Draw to fruition. The funds will go into delivering hot meals to the homes of 50 friends with disabilities, NTUC vouchers for all our participating beneficiaries, virtual entertainment & games led by professional emcees and prizes for our lucky draw winners. Thank you.
