About Campaignends 15 Jun 2018, 11:59 PM
While the food is primarily given to Muslims to break fast, FFFA also reaches out to the less fortunate from other races so that they can experience the spirit of compassion, one of the main themes of Ramadan.
Com-Passion is part of FFFA's continual efforts to reach out to the less fortunate, and offer them some respite from their daily financial burden. In Ramadhan, we aim to encourage the spirit of Community Passion.
*We accept zakat and fidyah as part of this campaign. For zakat and fidyah, please email us at [email protected] and indicate your name, donation amount and intent, so that we can make sure that your donation is allocated to purchase food for fakir and miskin.
About the Charity
Free Food for All (FFFA) had given out more then 350,000 meals since its inception in early 2015. FFFA is meant for everyone and anyone who needs a meal. However, we provide special emphasis to the elderly, disabled and financially distressed. We hope that by fulfilling a basic human need for food, they will be empowered to take action and raise themselves out of poverty. We also believe that our project has the potential to foster a more gracious society and strengthen community spirit especially between neighbours. We are hopeful and optimistic that FFFA, with the gracious help of the community, can run entirely on contributions from members of the public.
