About Campaign
ends 27 Jan 2017, 11:59 PMIn the effort to raise awareness on hunger issues in Singapore, seasoned humanitarian Mohd Tahar Jumat (TJ) will be walking more than 100km across the island. Walking in support of Free Food For All Limited , TJ will walk with mere necessities on him and without any stocked supply of food, water nor money. Through the distance, he looks forward to interact with everyday Singaporeans to share real-time moments of empathetic thoughts on the plight of unheard communities that have experienced it worse with daily struggles of not having food.
Set to walk to 16 free food distribution locations, TJ's perseverance and belief that 'nothing is impossible without positive thinking' will drive him right to the beneficiary communities. Optimistic that people will not shy away from ensuring that our fellow friend, neighbour or community will not ever go hungry, TJ's effort is reminiscent of the good hearts of many Singaporeans that would cheer and support him through this effort.
About the Charity
Free Food for All (FFFA) had given out more then 500,000 meals since its inception in early 2015.
FFFA is meant for everyone and anyone who needs a meal. However, we provide special emphasis to the elderly, disabled and financially distressed. We hope that by fulfilling a basic human need for food, they will be empowered to take action and raise themselves out of poverty. We also believe that our project has the potential to foster a more gracious society and strengthen community spirit especially between neighbours.
We are hopeful and optimistic that FFFA, with the gracious help of the community, can run entirely on contributions from members of the public.
