Sri Lanka is currently experiencing the worst floods in 14 years. The devastating downpours have already killed over 203 people and displaced nearly 500,000. The mood in the affected communities is understandably somber. But disaster response teams have been inspired by the resilience and strength of each survivor, and how these communities have come together to help each other.

Take for example, Mr Dhilip Chandara. A survivor himself, Dhilip is doing what he can to help his community. He has been using his boat to help others. Due to the floods, main roads have cut off access to many households, Dhilip shuttles food and supplies to these families.

Like Dhilip, we can all do a little something to help these communities. Our government has already committed US$100,000 in aid.

It's our turn to do our part. Will you help save Sri Lanka?
