About Us

Fencing Singapore (formerly known as 'Amateur Fencing Association of Singapore') was established in 1955 and is the national governing body for the sport of fencing. Currently, there are 5000 fencers in the fencing community.

By actively participating in international competitions, organising international events and promoting the sport to more youths, Fencing Singapore aims to raise the profile of the sport and to achieve medals at the highest levels of global competition.

More information about the sport can be found at www.fencingsingapore.org.sg

Our Programmes

In 2018, Fencing Singapore started the Olympic Pathway Programme (OPP) to provide an enhanced level of support for athletes in the High Performance Sports pathway. This includes financial and/or programmatic support to prepare our national athletes to excel at the Major Competitions/Games and world level events.

Besides developing the athletes' sporting potential, the programme will also aspire to assist athletes in their education, national service, career, and personal development with the aim of developing role models for Singapore's youth and playing leadership roles in their respective communities.

To keep the programme going, we hope to raise a substantial donation and with your support & contributions.

Here's what your tax-deductible donation (2.5 times) can provide:

1. Improving the National Training Environment
2. Having more local training camps in preparation towards major competitions
3. Primary School Outreach/Financial Assistance Scheme
4. Fencing Singapore's One Team Singapore Fund
