About Campaign

ends 30 Nov 2023, 11:59 PM
At The Food Bank Singapore, our unwavering commitment is to combat food insecurity and nourish vulnerable communities. However, we currently face a pressing challenge: inadequate food storage.

To address this issue, we are launching a campaign focused on acquiring additional shelves, baskets, and sorting tables. By empowering our dedicated volunteers with efficient tools, we can effectively manage and distribute donated food, reaching even more individuals in need.

Donations made to this campaign will directly support the acquisition of sustainable and affordable storage solutions.

Through this funding, we aim to expand our storage capacity by approximately 30%, providing ample room for our operations. Additionally, large sorting tables will enable up to 30 volunteers to sort, pick, and pack food efficiently, allowing us to process donations 2-3 times faster.

Join us now and help us create a more effective and efficient food distribution system, ensuring that no one in Singapore goes without a meal. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity.

About the Charity

Established in 2012, The Food Bank Singapore is Singapore's first food bank and aims to be the prevailing centralised coordinating organisation for all food donations in Singapore. Driven by its mission to eradicate food insecurity of all forms in Singapore by 2025, the registered charity bridges potential donors and member beneficiaries by collecting and redistributing donated food. Its members are registered charity organisations or special organisations with a designated meal programme for low income and underprivileged individuals and families. Through a network of more than 300 such organisations of all sizes, the food bank serves more than 100,000 families and over 300,000 people with all kinds of food: from fresh to cooked.
