About Campaign
ends 07 Jun 2023, 11:59 PMOur beneficiaries can now use their Bank Cards (preloaded with $100 worth of credits per month), to purchase a prepared hot meal or use it for dry food items. Food Pantry 2.0: At the disposal of our beneficiaries - always there, always ready!
With just 100 SGD a month, we can offer the freedom of choice to each of our beneficiaries. The ability to choose groceries based on their household needs, cultures and preferences is given to them.
During food drives we often receive spoiled or open food items. Sieving out and disposing of expired products further escalates our costs.
When you donate to The Food Bank Singapore, you help to end food insecurity in Singapore and support beneficiaries. Thanks to our various industry partnerships, we are able to negotiate better prices and buy MORE food using your monetary donations.
Monetary donations also save us logistics costs such as admin work, transportation, warehouse space, volunteers and sort team (all of which are critical for food drives).
About the Charity
Established in 2012, The Food Bank Singapore is Singapore's first food bank and aims to be the prevailing centralised coordinating organisation for all food donations in Singapore. Driven by its mission to eradicate food insecurity of all forms in Singapore by 2025, the registered charity bridges potential donors and member beneficiaries by collecting and redistributing donated food. Its members are registered charity organisations or special organisations with a designated meal programme for low income and underprivileged individuals and families. Through a network of more than 300 such organisations of all sizes, the food bank serves more than 100,000 families and over 300,000 people with all kinds of food: from fresh to cooked.
