About Campaign

Hi! I am Tiak & I am raising funds for FaithActs by doing my own version of a triathlon - a Tiak-a-thon.
On 21 Dec 2021, (Tuesday), I will challenge myself to complete a 5km open water swim, followed by a 50km road cycle and then finish with a 5km run. The challenge will be held @Sentosa and I hope to complete it under 5 hours. I have always wanted to complete something like this and as I turned 50 this year, there is nothing more pertinent (and legit!) than to do this in aid of a good cause.
Due to overwhelming support, my initial target to raise $5000 has been exceeded. With this affirmation, and believing in more generous support, I hope to reach $25,000 in donations for FaithActs. Yes, we can do it! The funds raised can provide assistance for families to cope with their mental wellness. It can be used to provide many sessions of fun-filled workshops & group-based activities for youths. Funds raised can also provide supervised mobility exercises & physical therapy sessions for seniors in the high & low mobility categories. Besides my $-for-$ matching of your donations for the first $5000 (which has already been exceeded). FaithActs will also be giving away blessed draw prizes for some lucky donors!
So, donate generously and support me, and more importantly, support FaithActs!

Story of Mdm Saw* - A foreigner, is the sole breadwinner, and work part-time to supporter her children. After the passing of her husband, she was left with some legal tussle over the family's flat. In the past, she would commute back and forth to her home country to seek free medical treatment for her chronic conditions. With the travel restrictions due to the pandemic, she had to seek treatment here which added to her financial and mental stress. With your support, Mdm Saw will be relieved of the heavy financial burden of meeting daily living expenses and legal settlement. "I'm very thankful to FaithActs for sending me this financial support in this timely manner. With this money, I can also buy some new clothes for my growing son who hasn't bought any these two years because he understood our financial plight."

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
