About Campaign

Gift students from Special Education schools the chance to visit the world-renowned "Dale Chihuly: Glass in Bloom" exhibition and view firsthand the community art installations which they had contributed towards!

Will you help us enable differently abled people to enjoy and appreciate the exhibition?

Most of the time, exhibitions are not easily understood with wordy materials and long descriptions. As the Inclusivity Partner to the "Dale Chihuly: Glass in Bloom" exhibition, ExtraOrdinary People has modified exhibition content into a simpler, easily understood format and has trained volunteer guides on communicating with people with special needs.

Help us create a more inclusive experience for all!

Your donation will allow students with special needs to:

- Visit an exhibition which is friendly for people of all abilities

- Go on a guided tour by volunteer guides trained to interact and host persons with different communication abilities

- Learn about the art of glass blowing, environmental sustainability and upcycling of plastics

- Be part of An ExtraOrdinary Community Art Project where they attend art workshops to co-create a community art installation, made entirely out of upcycled plastics

*Unused funds from this project will go towards our financial assistance scheme and other programmes and services*

About the Charity

We are a registered charity and Institute of Public Character (IPC) that enables, supports and seeks to empower persons with special needs through community-supported initiatives. We adopt a team-based approach towards enabling and empowering individuals with special needs to live independently, be work ready, work able and sustain employment, working closely and supporting the inner and outer circles within each special needs individual's ecosystem.

Another of our focus is to showcase how art and music can be a catalyst and an evolving robust platform that will allow diverse voices and perspectives to be heard. Through community-supported initiatives, we use art and music as a powerful medium to transform lives and build resilience at individual, family and community levels.

Our Vision:
An inclusive and ExtraOrdinary Singapore!

Our Mission:
To support every person with special needs in Singapore through community-supported initiatives.

Our Philosophy:
We partner you and your child, through team-based support, in your child's learning and developmental journey.
