About Us

We are a registered charity and Institute of Public Character (IPC) that enables, supports and seeks to empower persons with special needs through community-supported initiatives. We adopt a team-based approach towards enabling and empowering individuals with special needs to live independently, be work ready, work able and sustain employment, working closely and supporting the inner and outer circles within each special needs individual's ecosystem.

Another of our focus is to showcase how art and music can be a catalyst and an evolving robust platform that will allow diverse voices and perspectives to be heard. Through community-supported initiatives, we use art and music as a powerful medium to transform lives and build resilience at individual, family and community levels.

Our Vision:
An inclusive and ExtraOrdinary Singapore!

Our Mission:
To support every person with special needs in Singapore through community-supported initiatives.

Our Philosophy:
We partner you and your child, through team-based support, in your child's learning and developmental journey.

Our Programmes

Programmes with Art & Music

We are developing programmes combining mainstream therapy domains (occupational therapy, speech and language therapy) with art and music therapy elements to impart and teach key functional skills, socio-emotional skills, social skills and stress management and regulation skills contextualised for practical daily, whether at home, in school or at a workplace.

An ExtraOrdinary Celebration

Singapore's largest inclusive concert held annually and dedicated as a celebration of inclusivity and a show of appreciation to parents and educators in the special needs community. Through the performing arts, we can create a platform for performers within inclusive teams to interact and get to know one another, contributing to the shaping of inclusive communities locally and regionally.

ExtraOrdinary Apprenticeship Programme

Aiming to increase the employability of persons with special needs by piloting and sustaining various employment models through an ecosystem approach. Through this programme, we hope to enable persons with special needs to sustain their employment, easing societal and financial pressures on them and their families, and empower them to be integrated into Singapore's workforce as contributing members of society.
