About Us

Education comes hand in hand with giving back to society. EtonHouse Community Fund (ECF) was set up in 2015 by EtonHouse Group in the spirit of giving back to society.

We believe that every child regardless of his or her background should have access to good quality education. But not every child gets access to a safe and nurturing environment, for reasons out of their control.

Our Vision is to...
Create pathways for children to discover their unique gifts to the world.

We invest in the heart of Singapore's future through initiatives that cultivate self awareness, develop personal narratives and healthy relationships to build communities.

Today, ECF is an independent Institution Public Character (IPC) charity and a member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS). With the support of public donations, we have been able to run meaningful programmes, positively impacting more than 17,000 children and youth over the years.

Our Programmes

We are committed to support vulnerable children with their learning. To make learning fun, not fearful. We wish for children to experience having story books and to grow up in homes where books are a source of joy, not stress. That was why in 2020, we started Teacher Everywhere. This is a programme where we recruit and train volunteers to deliver weekly Joyful Learning experiences for preschoolers from vulnerable families. Based on children's books, we aim to nurture in young children a joy for learning and reading. Children are also gifted a storybook every other week to help them build their home libraries.

This is just one of our many programmes to serve children and youth. Some of our other initiatives include our mindfulness programme which started in 2018 to enhance the emotional and mental wellbeing of at-risk youth.

Our support for preschoolers include CDA top-ups, sponsorship for enrichment, bursaries and welcome kits as they embark on their preschool journeys.

Furthermore, to advocate for Respectful Parenting and support parents on their parenting journeys, we are developing a range of resources for parents. In 2021, we launched a short film Little Wishes and published the book Respectful Parenting about how parents can build positive relationships with their children.
