About Campaign

ends 11 Oct 2022, 11:59 PM
When you donate to our Gift a Seat initiative, you are helping us to build a new theatre space at Esplanade that will enable our diverse communities, including our young, our seniors and people with special needs, to come together, to explore, and to better understand ourselves, our society, and the world through the arts.

Donors can leave your legacy by dedicating a seat/s in the new Singtel Waterfront Theatre. Your gift will help us to put the finishing touches on the new theatre that will open in 2022 and develop it as a space that benefits our next generation of artists and audiences.

In appreciation of your gift, you will enjoy the following.

Non-fixed* seat donor:
- Non-fixed seat with a plaque of donors' name
- Invitation to receive Esplanade&Me Black Card
- Priority ticket purchase to the Singtel Waterfront Theatre Opening Festival

Fixed seat donor:
- A dedicated, fixed seat with a plaque of donor's name and message
- Invitation to receive Esplanade&Me Black Card
- Priority ticket purchase to the Singtel Waterfront Theatre Opening Festival

*Non-fixed seats are due to the flexible configuration of the theatre.

About the Charity

Esplanade is Singapore's national performing arts centre and a not-for-profit organisation with a social mission.

We believe that the arts can transform lives through its ability to uplift spirits, provide inspiration, foster bonds and cultivate understanding. The arts can bring individuals and communities closer together and it is our vision to be a performing arts centre for everyone.

Esplanade operated by The Esplanade Co Ltd (TECL), which is a not-for-profit organisation, a registered Charity and an Institution of a Public Character. The Charity Council awarded TECL the Charity Governance Award (Special Commendation for Clarity of Strategy) in 2016, and the Charity Transparency Award for four consecutive years since 2016.
