Esplanade marks our 20th year of being an arts centre for everyone in 2022. At the heart of our vision is ensuring that the arts is accessible for as many as possible. This is why more than 70% of our 3,500 performances and activities are presented free for all to enjoy each year.

As a charity and not-for-profit organisation, we rely greatly on the support of those who believe in our social mission. Communities in need, including seniors, children, youth, the migrant community and those with disabilities, are also a key area of focus for Esplanade's community engagement efforts. Every year, we work closely with artists and social service agencies to bring transformative and meaningful arts experiences to over 14,000 beneficiaries. Our year-long community engagement programmes for vulnerable individuals and communities leverage on the social impact of the arts to engage those facing challenging circumstances in life. Esplanade is also Singapore's first Dementia-Friendly Arts Venue and a Dementia Go-To Point.
