At Esplanade, we believe that the arts transforms lives and uplifts spirits. This is why more than 70% of our 3,500 performances and activities are presented free for all to enjoy each year.

Through videos, podcasts, stories and more on Esplanade Offstage (www.esplanade.com/offstage), our online all-access backstage pass and insider's guide to Singapore and Asian arts and culture, we also give everyone continued access to the arts even from home.

As a charity with a social mission, communities in need, including seniors, children, youth and people with special needs, are also a key area of focus for Esplanade's community engagement efforts. We've witnessed how the arts can help build confidence, heal broken spirits and bring people closer.

Every year, we work closely with artists and social service organisations (SSOs) to bring transformative and meaningful arts experiences to over 17,000 beneficiaries from communities in need. These include long-term flagship projects that give beneficiaries hands-on opportunities to engage with the performing arts and reap its benefits, as well as workshops and visits for beneficiaries to enjoy performances at Esplanade.
