About Campaign

Project Dawn was introduced to a school in 2019 as an after-school programme that targets at-risk and potential at-risk students, as well as the parents of the at-risk students. It is scheduled to end in Jul 2021

Additionally, the programme seeks to engage the parents of these students to empower them with skills and knowledge that will enhance their parenting capabilities and family functioning.

The content for these sessions have been formulated by staff from Epworth using evidence-based theories and approaches, as well as the extensive experience we have gained from the organisation's involvement and experience in working with youths-at-risk.

Content includes:
- problem solving/ conflict management
- healthy self-esteem
- boy-girl relationships
- peer selection
- communication skills
- anger management
- setting boundaries, rewards, consequences

Your generous giving will go towards helping to build mentally resilient children and strong families in our communities through this project and other similar projects by Epworth Community Services.
