Epworth E-Flag Day is happening again!

This year, we are inviting YOU to come alongside us, in raising funds and to supporting those who have experienced or are experiencing trauma.

A child may develop trauma as a response to unfortunate incidents. These experiences can evoke negative responses such as fear, stress, and anger; possibly imposing lifelong consequences physically, mentally and emotionally.

This E-Flag Day, we hope to help you better understand trauma, and what one can do to stand with someone who is going through it. Experiencing trauma can be a terrifying and lonely experience; no one should go through it alone. #notalone

On 1 Mar 2022, Epworth Community Services launched the Centre for Positive Recovery (CPR) to provide specialised therapeutic services to support children, youths and their caregivers in their mental well-being. At CPR, we use evidence-based approaches in our counselling, family therapy, and behavioural support for those affected by trauma.

Your giving is important for Epworth to continue our work in serving at-risk children and youths, preventing any ongoing effects of trauma into adulthood. Join us in creating a better future for these children so that they can develop their potential.

Together, we can build strong families as we impart skills to children and youths for resilient living, propelling them towards good mental health.
