About Campaign

Children with cerebral palsy and other motor impairments encounter difficulties exploring the world due to reduced mobility. Exploration is essential to learning about the world and helps in their cognitive, language and social development, yet existing commercial off-the-shelf toys are not designed with these children in mind. Another option available is motorised wheelchairs, but these are expensive and also intimidating for young children.

The GoBabyGo! project converts battery-powered ride-on cars into rehabilitative devices for children with special needs, allowing them to explore the world around them on their own and participate in interactive play with other children. This is a fun and engaging way to enable children with mobility challenges to play and socialize with their peers. Above all, It allows them an opportunity to just be a kid.

For this campaign, we will be modifying two cars for two Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC) centres. Each car is modified to suit the centers' specific needs, in consultation with its occupational and physiotherapists, who can advise on how the cars can best be modified to suit the abilities and rehabilitation needs of each child.

Participate in our GoBabyGo! project with your kind donation! You will be giving to a creative and viable solution that gives children with special needs a sense of belonging, and inclusion, because they will not have to miss out on playtime or making friends!
