Epilepsy Care Group (ECG) (Singapore) has been granted a 120sqm community space by the Ministry of Social and Family Development, to set up an epilepsy wellness centre at the Bukit Merah Community Hub. It is intended that this purpose-built centre will provide a range of services and activities aimed at social integration of people with epilepsy, providing information, guidance and support, facilitating independence of people with epilepsy and maximising their physical and functional abilities. The new centre would also provide facilities for an epilepsy advisory service, a resource library, an administration office, a learning and training space for community education and other social activities, a thrift shop for training of people with epilepsy in retail management, a small gym area, and a counseling/recovery room.

Your support will make a significant difference to the lives of some 20,000 people with epilepsy in Singapore. The epilepsy community could finally have an anchored sense of belonging and of being. ECG hopes to take phenomenal steps in advancing epilepsy care and creating an environment of comfort and confidence where persons with epilepsy should be able to say 'I have epilepsy' without being afraid of rejection or discriminated against.

Donations of $20 and above to Epilepsy Care Group (Singapore) qualify for tax relief.
