How Your Donation Makes a Difference

About Us

Established in 1996, Down Syndrome Association (Singapore) is a primarily self-funded, non-profit social service organisation dedicated to serving the needs of individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Annually, DSA supports more than 400 persons with Down syndrome and over 1,000 family members.

Our Mission
Develop individuals with Down syndrome through lifelong learning and social integration; support families through specialist services, information and education; and advocate for equal opportunities, quality of life and their contribution to society.

Currently, DSA offers services in the following categories: Children Education Services, Adult Education Services, Enrichment Programmes, and Family Support Services.

Our Programmes

Each year, DSA needs about $2.7 million to run its services and programmes. Your donation will greatly benefit our persons with Down syndrome and their families.

CHILDREN EDUCATION SERVICES
We provide critical early intervention services and support education in mainstream primary schools. We also provide resources and training for parents and teachers through education enrichment courses.

ADULT EDUCATION SERVICES
We foster self-advocacy, promote social integration, and equip them with skills for independent living.

ENRICHMENT PROGRAMMES
We engage members to develop their talents and passion, and provide opportunities for members to showcase their acquired skills, talent and growth.

FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES
We build and strengthen family bonds through organising various workshops
