Dover Park Hospice is proud to host its event of the year 'Sunflower Virtual Dinner - Sweet Summer Nights'. This year fundraiser marks a paradigm shift from our traditional Gala Dinner held for the past 27 years as we adapt to the new normal amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Be a part of history by participating in Dover Park Hospice's first ever Virtual Dinner on the 18 September 2020, 7pm. Hosted by affable Denise Tan, theatre actress & Gold 95 DJ, enjoy a night of music, curated dinner and entertainment by DPH GEMS Show Choir all from your homes! It's time to get ready for the most exciting tropical summer night!

In spite of the COVID-19, we have continued to serve the terminally ill patients, relieving their pain and symptoms and at the same time, providing support to their families. With technology, we bring activities to our patients' bedside and connect them with friends and family. Teleconsultation is also provided to our home care patients, ensuring continuum of care.

The pandemic has inevitably presented challenges and hampered most of our major fundraising efforts. We hope to raise $160,000 through this online campaign as part of our $800,000 target.

No contribution is too small. Together, we can make a difference to the remaining days of our patients' lives.

About the Charity

Dover Park Hospice was founded in 1992 as a secular, nonprofit organisation to meet the growing need in Singapore for hospice care for terminally-ill patients. It is Singapore's first purpose-built hospice, designed to provide a serene environment close to nature.

Open to everyone regardless of age, race, religion or income level, Dover Park Hospice is dedicated to meeting the unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those who are nearing the end of life's journey. The goal is to enhance the living, comfort the dying and support the grieving with compassion and dignity.

To cover its operating expenditure which is estimated at $19.3 million per year, Dover Park Hospice relies a lot on fundraising activities and kind donations from generous well-wishers and corporations.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
