"National University of Singapore Society (NUSS) has committed to adopt Dover Park Hospice as one of their adopted charities for 2021. In line with our mission which is to engage our wider graduate community to contribute back to our society and help to cultivate a more gracious social and cultural environment. Caring for the terminally ill patients and caregivers are often overlooked in our fast paced society. We hope through our partnership with Dover Park Hospice we could improve the awareness of the importance of palliative care among our community, to support these patients to receive dignified care at the remaining days of their lives and show our care to their families. We like to invite you to join our cause and all funds will go towards caring of patients at the hospice. "

About the Charity

Dover Park Hospice was founded in 1992 as a secular, nonprofit organisation to meet the growing need in Singapore for hospice care for terminally-ill patients. It is Singapore's first purpose-built hospice, designed to provide a serene environment close to nature.

Open to everyone regardless of age, race, religion or income level, Dover Park Hospice is dedicated to meeting the unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those who are nearing the end of life's journey. The goal is to enhance the living, comfort the dying and support the grieving with compassion and dignity.

To cover its operating expenditure which is estimated at $19.3 million per year, Dover Park Hospice relies a lot on fundraising activities and kind donations from generous well-wishers and corporations.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
