Brothers Jia Hao and Jia Xin were admitted to Chen Su Lan Methodist Children's Home (CSLMCH) after suffering physical abuse from their drug-addicted father.

The CSLMCH care team provided a safe and stable environment, while therapists used a Trauma-Informed Care approach to help the brothers heal and regain hope. Customised support programmes from the education department ensured their academic progress. The Chaplain guided the boys spiritually, teaching them Christian values of love, compassion, and forgiveness. The Safe & Strong Family Reunification (SSF-R) programme aided the family in rebuilding their lives through financial planning and coping techniques.

Despite initial challenges, Jia Hao, diagnosed with autism, learned coping skills and improved his verbal communication, showing significant personal development. Jia Xin, initially struggling due to mutism, grew into a confident young boy through a carefully designed care plan.

After a five-year stay, the brothers have been reunited with their reformed and employed parents, resulting in improved parent-child relationships. However, such success stories of reunification are rare, and continued support is needed to provide quality care for all children at CSLMCH. Donations are needed to create a nurturing environment, enabling children to reach their full potential.

Funds raised from this campaign will be channeled into the Home's education and enrichment fund.
