VISION & MISSION

We aim to create awareness and raise funds for our chosen beneficiary, Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN).

About Us

We are Project Espoir, a Youth for Causes 2018 team. We aim to create awareness and raise funds for our chosen beneficiary, Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN). We aim to fight against stigma and assist in the integration of special needs persons into society. In line with APSN's mission, we aim to use these funds to cultivate character and nurture talents in a conducive and collaborative learning environment.

Our Programmes

Unlike most other fundraising projects, we will be replacing street sales with charity booths instead. This is because APSN has faced numerous challenges and negative experiences when conducting street sales previously and would prefer to conduct fundraising in a controlled environment. Charity Booths will be stationed in shopping malls, schools, institutions and charity drives on specific days from May to June. These booths will serve as means for people to donate and purchase merchandise, in which the proceeds will go to APSN. APSN has been a great help in helping us source for upcoming booths in addition to those we plan to contact. Social media platforms will be used to help generate public awareness.
Merchandise sales will be held in specific schools, and respective representatives of the school will obtain any required permissions from the school.
During our charity booths as mentioned above we will also be selling cookies from APSN to raise additional funds. Selling cookies from a well known organisation such as APSN will attract more people to purchase the cookies as they come from a safe and legitimate source. This reduces the risk of food poisoning and any related problems. We will also be selling APSN cookies to various schools through the use of an online form and merchandise sales.
On top of those mentioned above, Church Sales, Physical Sports, Esports, as well as Door To Door sales will be part of our Fundraising efforts too.
