Be Kind SG aims to bring awareness to the different ways that people can contribute to make Singapore a happier and kinder place.

About Us

Be Kind SG is a volunteer-led non-profit organizatoin aiming to bring awareness to the different ways that people can contribute to make Singapore a happier and kinder place. Currently, our programs include supporting adult disability homes and children and youths with special needs. We also organize ad hoc kindness projects for various invisible needs.

Our Programmes

Our core programs include:

1. Be A Special Friend. We befriend adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism living in adult disability homes (Moral Welfare Home & THK Home for Disabled @ Sembawang) to reduce their feeling of isolation and connect them to the wider community.

2. #CraftforGood: We organize various #Craftforgood activities to craft all kinds of items (cards, coloring sheets, flower arrangements, festive decorations) to gift our resident friends from the adult disability homes and other communities.

3. Playable.SG: Play.Able is a pilot project to make play accessible to children with disabilities/special needs on a membership basis. We run a toy library for members to borrow educational toys & learning resources.

4. Kindness Projects: We bring together volunteers to show kindness to our 'less visible' communities, focusing on the special needs communities. Kindness projects are also sometimes determined by the needs on the ground.
