How Your Donation Makes a Difference

About Us

The Community Foundation of Singapore is a non-profit organisation founded in 2008 to encourage and enable philanthropy in Singapore. We match donors' interest with causes and offer ways for them to make a greater impact through their charitable funds. We also collaborate with charity partners to identify programmes that support diverse communities. Our purpose is to create real and meaningful change while building a philanthropic culture in Singapore. CFS is a registered charity with Institution of a Public Character status.

Our Programmes

CFS has established various community impact funds to address unmet needs and/or under-supported causes in Singapore. These funds include:

LIFT (Learning Initiatives for Employment) Community Impact Fund supports programmes that provide vocational training and social support for marginalised groups in Singapore before placing them in jobs in the open market.

MEANS (Migrants Emergency Assistance and Support) Community Impact Fund provides medical care, shelter and basic subsistence to ill, injured or exploited migrant workers.

Outing for Seniors Community Impact Fund enables nursing homes, day care centres and hospices to bring frail seniors, many wheelchair bound, on regular organised excursions so that they can enjoy being out and about.

We have also just closed our Sayang Sayang Fund campaign page, which was launched in February 2020 to support those adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all those who have supported the Sayang Sayang Fund. Your generosity and saying saying has made a difference to over 136,000 care recipients and counting.
