The Community Foundation of Singapore is a non-profit organisation founded in 2008 to encourage and enable philanthropy in Singapore. We match donors' interest with causes and offer ways for them to make a greater impact through their charitable funds. We also collaborate with charity partners to identify and develop programmes that support diverse communities. Our purpose is to create real and meaningful change while building a philanthropic culture in Singapore. CFS is a registered charity with Institution of a Public Character status.
Community Impact (or Compact) Funds help to address unmet needs or under-supported causes in Singapore. These include:
The Migrants Emergency Assistance and Support (MEANS) Fund which provides medical care, shelter and basic subsistence to ill, injured or exploited migrant workers.
Safe Home Scheme which provides a one-stop home modification service to retrofit or design a more accessible and safe home environment for needy elderly or persons with disabilities.
