Recognising that there are still many charities not directly related to Covid-19 from the Arts & Heritage, Disability, Children & Youth, Community, and Social Service sectors which have suffered as much as an 80% reduction in donations due to the postponement or cancellation of fund-raising events, The City of Good Show partners with the stars of Dream Academy to fundraise and bring you laughter!
Every week, be entertained by Selena Tan, Pam Oei, Ghafir Akbar and Siti Khalijah, and look out for Special Guest Star of the Week... Kumar!
The Queen of Comedy pulls out all the stops in order to support Social Service charities with the Dream Academy gang on HOME IMPROVment!
In the third episode, we are fundraising for 14 charities from the Social Service sector. The Social Service sector serves to enhance the wellbeing of our community. Social Service professionals and volunteers from these charities work relentlessly to empower families to overcome issues, tackle the effects of ageing, the challenges of growing up, as well as mental health concerns.
The saying goes, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Join us to be in service of others, and give our best in our City of Good.
Please share this page on your own social networks to raise greater awareness and channel much-needed resources to these communities.
