National Council Of Social Service (NCSS) had administered and allocated 2nd June 2018, Saturday as our Flag Day 2018.

The money raised through Flag Day 2018 (after deducting expenses incurred) will be allocated to our Needy Client's Fund and Caregivers' Support & Training Fund for the direct benefit of our clients and their families, and to our General Fund to cover daily operating expenses.

Currently, we care for 105 clients in 3 centres and the number will go up to 155 clients this year. To provide our clients with the best quality program daily, it cost around S$1800 per month per client.

However, 80 to 90 percent of our clients are subsidised so that they don't burden their family by paying that much. In fact, 45% of our clients are paying as little as S$45 per month.

We will pick up all clients islandwide with our vans to the respective centres. We also provide the daily activities, we cook and provide food on a daily basis. Our caregivers, program staffs oftentimes will need to feed them and assist them in their toileting.

We will strive to provide the best quality service to our clients regardless their financial situation. To do this we need your help.

Please donate so that special people in our community can also have a quality life they deserve.

Your contributions to this Flag Day will go a long way in helping to lift a sizeable financial load off of us.

About the Charity

You are qualify for a 250% Tax deduction. The Christian Outreach to the Handicapped (COH) reaches out to intellectually handicapped individuals aged between 16 and 55. Many of the people we serve have either been born with or acquired disabilities including: Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Hearing impairments, Speech handicap, Physical disabilities, and Epilepsy. We support our clients by providing day activity centers where they can experience varied and engaging programmes, tapping on their talents, abilities, and interests. The programmes encourage our clients to not only develop the necessary skills to achieve independence in their day-to-day activities, but also to boost their self-esteem and confidence levels. Our goal is to help limit the divide between people that are able and those that are disabled, leading to a much-needed acceptance that these individuals seek in their lives. Our organization goes beyond simply helping these extraordinary people. We also provide their families with support, guidance, and peace of mind. Our center supplies families with time through the day that can be used for work, errands, or simply getting some rest so that they can offer the best possible support to their loved ones. As an organization that relies on the support of donations for day-to-day operations, your contribution is greatly appreciated.
