Kwang Wei was diagnosed with Intellectual Disability and communicate via gestures. He also diagnosed with gout and is overweight.

Due to his condition, he has been reluctant to participate in outdoor and group activities. Through various intervention plans and collective efforts from the staff, Kwang Wei now participates more actively in our activities.

One of his favourite yearly activities is our Christmas celebration, where he can enjoy exciting activities such as participating in music, dancing activities and a short skit. He also gets to enjoy different kinds of food and goodies prepared by our staff, specifically for this festive occasion.

In the midst of this challenging time, we endeavour to bring smiles and joy to our clients, through a smaller scale Christmas celebration on 18 December 2020.

Please consider to support us financially in this festive celebration. We believe Christmas is a season of giving and your contribution in this festive season will bring cheers to the clients and staff.

Thank you and God bless

About the Charity

Christian Outreach to the Handicapped (COH) reaches out to Adult Intellectual Disability individuals aged between 18 and 55. They are the most vulnerable during this time of Covid19 pandemic.

Many of the people we serve have either been born with or acquired disabilities including:
Down syndrome,
Cerebral Palsy,
Autism Spectrum Disorder,
Hearing impairments,
Speech handicap,
Physical disabilities, and
Epilepsy.

We support our clients by providing day activity centers where they can experience varied and engaging programmes, tapping on their talents, abilities, and interests.

The programmes encourage our clients to not only develop the necessary skills to achieve independence in their day-to-day activities, but also to boost their self-esteem and confidence levels.

Our goal is to help limit the divide between people that are able and those that are disabled, leading to a much-needed acceptance that these individuals seek in their lives. Our organization goes beyond simply helping these extraordinary people. We also provide their families with support, guidance, and peace of mind. Our center supplies families with time through the day that can be used for work, errands, or simply getting some rest so that they can offer the best possible support to their loved ones.

As an organization that relies on the support of donations for day-to-day operations, your contribution is greatly appreciated. You are qualify for a 250% Tax deduction.
