The Temasek Junior College Symphonic Band was established in 1977 for students to express their interest and love for music. The Band has since maintained a high standard of excellence driven by commitment, dedication and sheer passion of its students and conductor.

Throughout the years, with the hard work of our members and conductors, we have achieved consecutive Distinctions at the Singapore Youth Festival since 2013! Annually, we perform for concerts, such as Limelight and Prelude at the Esplanade and our very own school-based concert, Fiesta.

Titled 'Fiesta Galaxis' - the concert on 19 November was a huge success this year with the range of musical pieces that we are playing which include hit numbers like Disney Fantasy, Gelato and Japanese Graffiti.

As part of our school's Values-in-Action project, we will be partnering with the Children-At-Risk Empowerment Association (CARE Singapore) and all funds raised from our Concert will be donated to the beneficiary.

CARE Singapore endeavours to help vulnerable young people find direction, hope and success. Just like how stars in the galaxy light up the sky, we also hope that our Band can help TJCians to do their part in lighting up the lives of the vulnerable young people in Singapore through 'Fiesta Galaxis'.
