About Campaign
ends 31 Jul 2023, 11:59 PM Child at Street 11 is a Centre focused on providing equal education and opportunities for under-served children. Due to the economic fall out of Covid-19, low-income parents are no longer able to pay their childcare fees, while funds from corporate donors have also quickly evaporated.
The purpose of this campaign "From the eyes of our children" is to bring better awareness to the children in need by showcasing how children sees the world and the difference one can make with a little support to Child at Street 11.
This will empower our Centre to continue providing a safe haven for children from under-served families, giving them high quality education in a conducive environment and a brighter future.
We would need to raise about $100,000 for the below purposes:
- Professional maintenance of the Childcare Centre including but not exclusive to periodic deep cleaning of all operation facilities, purchase of machines such as washing machine / refrigerator / air-purifiers, fixing walls, etc... (Most of such machineries has been in service for more than 10 years and had been showing signs of breakdown)
- Renew teaching materials
- To keep the Centre running, especially with increasing costs such as food for children, utility bills, operating cost and an increased amount of childcare fees that the Centre absorbs for children from under-served families.
