About Campaign

ends 30 Apr 2022, 11:59 PM
We are a group of senior emergency physicians who are passionate about the work we do and our specialty. Emergency Medicine is time critical, and many patients depend on our accurate diagnosis and early urgent treatment to ensure their survival or reduction of complications. We also have to treat any and every condition that comes through our doors at all times of the day, every day. We treat from children to elderly patients, trauma and injury, poisonings, strokes, heart attacks, sepsis and even mass disasters and pandemic responses. Our nursing colleagues have also made great strides in the field of Emergency Nursing too.

There are also many aspects of work in the Emergency Department that allow us to delve into our varied interests such as medical education, research and innovation, as well as safety and quality improvement efforts. We are still a young specialty. We want to support our colleagues in their areas of interest in research and innovation efforts, so as to better improve the science and art of emergency medicine and thus the care we give to our patients.

Team Ewoks will come together to clock a total of 200km in support of the Emergency Medicine Academic Clinical Programme (EMACP) and we hope to raise $5,000 for EMACP.
